Archival ink on museum-quality cotton rag paper, 35mm film photography | 2022

The artist began the series Analog Diary in 2010. This photograph is of the artist's husband's hand and was taken in March 2022 in Dungeness, England. Known for her painting and sculpture works, Hoffbeck presents “Analog Diary”, a photographic series using 35mm film. The first of its kind for Tappan, Hoffbeck is no stranger to a photography practice that is both meditative and methodical. In 2014 she was selected by the curators of M+ Museum in Hong Kong to be one of the thirteen artists published in Pipeline Contemporary Art Magazine's Photography Issue. She’s gone on to be published in M Le Monde, The Weekender, Oh Comely, The Carton, Hole & Corner Magazine, Moon Magazine and Hanatsubaki Magazine.
